	The Volleyball Festival	The Volleyball Festival is held annually in Phoenix, Arizona. This is HJV's preferred year end travel tournament for all teams not qualified for Junior Nationals.

College Volleyball Sites

	Name	Description
	CSTV	CSTV is available from cable and satellite companies and televises 20 - 30 collegiate volleyball games per season. Watching college matches (live or on TV) is a good way to get a feel for the level of competition for potential collegiate student-athletes. The CSTV website also has up-to-date news and information, as well as links to real-time stats for games nationwide.
	College Volleyball Update	CVU has statistics, results (updated daily during the season... quite cool), rankings, and an always fascinating Question of the Day page. They also have some links to college sites.
	AVCA Online	The official site for the American Volleyball Coaches Association has a good 'Collegiate Game' news section.
	NCAA.org Student Information Page	As a prospective student-athlete at a Division I or II institution, you have certain responsibilities to attend to before you may participate. Information concerning who needs to register with the Clearinghouse and what documents should be submitted can be found in The Guide for College-Bound Student-Athletes. (Taken from the NCAA website)

If you want to participate in Texas High School athletics, there is an organization you need to know about: the University Interscholastic League (UIL). Houston Juniors Mission Statement

Houston Juniors has a very clear set of objectives and goals that are designed to benefit the individual as well as the team and organization. Organizers and coaches within Houston Juniors emphasize the fundamentals of volleyball, the development of positive attitudes, the importance of preparation for top level competition, teamwork, and the value of volleyball as a sport.
