Welcome to our volleyball links page. We divide our links into three categories:

General Interest Volleyball Sites

  Name
Description

USA Volleyball Homepage

Snazzy website for USAV. National Team information, links to other regions, and US Junior National Championship information is all kept here.

Lone Star Region Homepage

Our Region's website, which includes Regional Contacts, Indoor and Outdoor Competition Schedules, Clinic Schedules, and other interesting tidbits.

FIVB Online

Hey, we found the FIVB Homepage! Keep up with all sorts of international volleyball news, rankings, schedules, and results.

Volleyball Worldwide

Just what it says... links to volleyball sites all over the globe. The whole gambit of volleyball info can be found here, from "...Volleyball is a team sport played on a court..." to international beach and indoor competition schedules.

The Volleyball Festival

The Volleyball Festival, held annually in and around Davis and Sacramento, California, is such a HUGE tournament. We felt like it probably deserved its own link on our site.

College Volleyball Sites

  Name
Description

CSTV

CSTV is available from cable and satellite companies and televises 20 - 30 collegiate volleyball games per season.  Watching college matches (live or on TV) is a good way to get a feel for the level of competition for potential collegiate student-athletes.  The CSTV website also has up-to-date news and information, as well as links to real-time stats for games nationwide.

College Volleyball Update

CVU has statistics, results (updated daily during the season... quite cool), rankings, and an always fascinating Question of the Day page. They also have some links to college sites.

AVCA Online

The official site for the American Volleyball Coaches Association has a good 'Collegiate Game' news section.

NCAA.org Student Information Page

As a prospective student-athlete at a Division I or II institution, you have certain responsibilities to attend to before you may participate. Information concerning who needs to register with the Clearinghouse and what documents should be submitted can be found in The Guide for College-Bound Student-Athletes.  (Taken from the NCAA website)

Below are links to some college programs. We have linked to local collegiate programs and programs in which HJV Alumni currently participate. (Please let us know if we have missed anybody...) Programs without links either have no website, or their website is currently down.

High School Volleyball Links

If you want to participate in Texas High School athletics, there is an organization you need to know about: the University Interscholastic League (UIL). The UIL is the governing body for Texas Public High School Athletics, extra-curricular, and co-curricular activities. They have posted all of their by-laws on the following website:

Do you know of any links which we should add? Specifically, are there any local volleyball links we should be aware of?  Let Chris know at cbb5x@earthlink.net.
