Prepvolleyball's Top 100 in the Country! Chloe #10 and Jenelle #17

Prepvolleyball's Top 100 in the Country!

Chloe #10 and Jenelle #17

Chloe Collins
Senior Ace Chloe Collins

10. Chloe Collins, 5-7 S, Cypress Woods (Cypress, Texas), Houston Juniors -- Texas

At only 5-7, Collins is someone you might walk by in the hallway without even noticing, but when you walk by her court she'll make you double and triple take as she leaps above the net saving passes at an altitude that most 6-0 setters can only dream to attain. After she has your attention, you won't want to leave after she springs off the floor and crushes a perfect pass to the floor with her lightning-quick left arm. And just when you think it couldn't possibly get any better, Collins will fly across the court making an unbelievable defensive play that will cause you such pause that you will find yourself secretly cheering for her team to win. Collins is the whole package. Off the court, her beaming smile beckons all and she knows how to balance being an athlete with academics, personal relationships and family. On the court, Collins is fiercely competitive, a great leader and is always working to turn weaknesses into strengths and strengths into “Oh no she didn’t!!” Collins is the rare undersized player who can take over a match and dominate it. A former member of the USA Youth National Team and a prep starter since her freshman year, Collins is an athletic sparkplug the Texas Longhorns will not be able to keep off the court.

Jenelle Jordan
Senior Ace Jenelle Jordan

17. Jenelle Jordan, 6-2 MB, Bellaire (Texas), Houston Juniors – California

An absolute stud athletically, Jordan has explosive jumping power combined with great transitional and lateral speed.  Very good off of two feet in front of the setter, Jordan contacts the ball at a height well above most other middles in her class. Jordan can be a dominating blocker with the ability to penetrate the net and intimidate even when the ball eludes her reach. She also has developed a very good jump float that is a point-scoring weapon.  Late to the game, Jordan has all the tools to become a collegiate force at the net blocking and hitting and has a body that will get even stronger as she trains in college. A very hard worker with a can-do attitude, Jordan should be on the court early at California Berkeley, where she has committed.
